Cover Zero is a Washington, DC-based original rock band born from the creative vision of songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Goldstein.

After more than a decade of writing and recording music, Goldstein created Cover Zero as an opportunity to fully embrace the music that first inspired him. Rooted in a lifelong love of rock and roll, the project combines ripping guitar, driving rhythms, and gritty vocals with cinematic storytelling influenced by life experience and his love for film.

What began as Goldstein writing and recording most of the instruments himself has grown into a full band built around the same vision: music that is honest, loud, and unapologetically authentic. Rather than chasing trends, Cover Zero leans into the unmistakable energy that has defined rock for generations. As Goldstein describes the live show, “You will not hear backing tracks, click tracks or vocal pitch correction at any of our shows. Just the live raw energy of rock and roll.”

Every song is driven by the belief that great rock music should make you feel something. Cover Zero aims to create music that feels both familiar and refreshingly original.
